Ilaria Vilkelis

With more than 25 years of international exposure, Ilaria blends her broad multi-cultural experience of living and working in the UK, Switzerland, France, as well as the US Mid-West and California with the warmth and zest for life of her native Italy. She has collaborated for several years with IMD, the international Lausanne based Business School as a Coach and served as Coach co-ordinator on selected Leadership Programmes.

As a leadership trainer and facilitator she has helped top managers in organizations such as UPM Kymmene, Novartis, Adecco, ESB, Safran, SEB  improve their leadership stance and increase their ability to inspire and guide their teams.

Ilaria has a quick mind and a focused approach to strategy which helps her guide groups rapidly to effective solutions.   Her concentration on bringing added value to her clients by keeping the commercial imperatives in view is much appreciated by those who work with her.

Along with her corporate work Ilaria has been developing her own programmes to assist expatriates in transition, people, who, just like her, had to reinvent themselves, survive and thrive in new countries and situations.

Thriving Beyond Cultures encompass her lifetime passion for learning and development. In this program she brings together her own personal and professional experience with the latest principles of Neurolinguistic Programming and Positive Psychology. Her aim is to create a powerful coaching progression that accelerates integration and facilitates the transition into a new country.

A Law Graduate, Ilaria holds an MBA from Bocconi University, several coaching certifications and she received her NLP Master Trainer Certification from Robert Dilts at NLP University.

She has lived in Milan and Los Angeles and, most recently resided in Geneva and London. While she frequently travels internationally, she is currently based in London.
